The Comfort plus is an exciting new design from Glide that provides greater comfort in the form of a plush seat and a host of superior features as standard. The seat features contoured back and base which offer new levels of comfort and support.

Features include an easy to use foot operated brake system and foot operated tilt seat. This assists the carer by freeing up both hands to support the person in the chair. Height adjustable arm rests have been designed with sliding top sections that allows the arm pad to move backwards and forwards. This is useful for getting closer to tables and also when reclining the occupant it can prevent their arm from falling into the gap between the back rest and arm
pad.

Comfort Plus is an adjustable seat base for mounting custom seating. The frame can be adjusted by length and width to accommodate all types of seating and postural supports. The following options show the many configurations you can achieve in the one chair. It is possible to mix and match the upholstery and frame types as seen in the photographs below.

1. Basic base with no back rest frame for mounting your own seating module.
2. Plush back rest with seat board for mounting pressure or custom cushions.
3. Foam and ply back rest and.-‘or seat. Our standard foam and ply is contoured for general use. We can supply the boards and foam uncovered for you to make your own custom shape.
4. Back frame with seat board. Allows you to mount “off the shelf” back rests or your own positioning module. Please let us know which product you are mounting and we will ensurewe get the right frame for you.
